Are you trying to lose weight but finding it difficult to stop eating cookies and cake after meals?
Try chewing on fennel seeds. They help your digestion and send a message to your stomach that you've 'had enough'. You'll more than likely find the desire for sweet goodies has gone.
Or maybe have a small bite or two of the gooey cake or crumbly cooky and then chew the fennel seeds
You can do it!

If you're anything like me you just love coffee. Unfortunately, caffeine doesn't love me...
Makes me like a hyperactive child! So most of the time I stick to decaff...preferably water-processed.
Too much caffeine can be toxic to the system.
I said in the last blog that this was to be another 'seedy' one..
It is, because chewing on a cardamon pod, or adding cardamon powder to your coffee [delicious] helps counteract any negative caffeine effects...
Mine's a cappuccino with an extra shot and a sprinkle of cardamon!

As you know, sleep is essential for health, beauty and happiness. Nothing can make us much more cranky or unattractive than lack of sleep.It can be annoying if you’ve gone to bed early and then don’t sleep.
Try not to get too stressed if this happens. Just lie there luxuriating , you’re still getting rest. But not if you’re lying there fuming!
A good get-to-sleep tip can be a forward bend. You can do it in bed. Just sit up, legs straight ahead and move your hands towards your toes, head towards knees.
Do not strain, but hold for about 10-15 seconds.
Snuggle back down again. You’ll probably soon be sleeping like a baby.

This may sound basic, but the truth is usually simple. Chew your food until it is liquid. Also, focus only on the taste of the yumminess. You will fill up and be more nourished on less food.
Also try and just focus on your food. If you're doing something else while you're eating, such as reading, or watching TV, you will not be properly aware of the food. This tends to make us eat more than we need...
As soon as you start to get bored eating and want to read your book at the same time you've probably had enough to eat...

Thongs have been getting a lot of 'bad press' recently. However, no matter what I hear I will keep wearing them. Personally I find them supremely comfortable...
The trick is to buy them in the 'next size up' from your usual size. That way they are more comfortable and more hygienic...
Not to mention more flattering!
Of course, if you never liked them anyway, or are too concerned about the hygiene issue, simply give them a miss.
However most clothing looks and feels better in a slightly larger size. You'll also feel more comfortable, which adds to your health and beauty.
So don't worry what the size labels say, listen to your body...
And of course, look in the mirror!
