November 4, 2005 14:44 - From Xmas Stress to Xmas Zest!

I know it's still only the beginning of November but I'm going to dare to mention Xmas...

One of the main themes of this site is stress avoidance. A big cause of stress can be leaving Christmas preparations until the last minute. Don't let this happen to you...

You want to be looking cool and beautiful when 'the season to be jolly' arrives...not hot harrassed and bothered...

Visit my page Xmas Stress and avoid it altogether...

The stress, not Christmas! But if you want to avoid Xmas, too, that's up to you!

November 17, 2005 18:11 - Pre Christmas Weight Loss!

Most of us are the opposite of turkeys and want to slim down rather than fatten up for Xmas! [Actually, I'm sure turkeys would rather stay skinny, it's safer!]

If you've visited this site before you'll know it's just full of weight loss tips.

For example, here's my Womens Weight Loss tips page...

And here's a new page of short, quick effective weight loss tips. I'll be adding to this one regularly. Check it out at:

Weight Loss Tips

And if you see any skinny turkeys leading up to Xmas you'll know they've been visiting this site. [They feel safe with me cos I'm veggie!]

November 24, 2005 13:49 - Don't Let Stress Spoil Your Holiday Fun!

Don't let stress spoil your Christmas holiday, or any other holiday. The best way I know of reducing stress is meditation. You'll find a free easy meditation technique right here on this site...

Don't use the excuse "But I haven't got time". Everyone I know who meditates agrees that it actually frees up some time. It certainly did for me...

When I first learnt to meditate, in 1991, I was living and working in London. I wasn't getting out of the office until about 9pm every night. Within a short while I was leaving at 3pm, having achieved just as much!

So here's the link to that free easy meditation technique

What's more, because I was was feeling less stressed I enjoyed my free time so much more!

November 25, 2005 11:45 - Worried about Bird Flu? Relax, It Could Be a Hoax!

Are you worried about bird flu? Is it a hoax or is it the truth? Well, there are two sides to most tales, such as does Santa exist. I say he does!

The following link is the opposite view regarding bird flu to what you've probably gleaned from the mainstream media.

What do I think? I don't want to influence you either way...I'll let you decide for yourself...

Avian Flu Hoax?

But put it this way, I'm not having that injection... But that could just be because I'm needle phobic!

I'll stick to my mega- doses of Vitamin C

December 6, 2005 17:51 - Lose Weight by Eating More on Christmas Day!

How would you like to eat more on Christmas day and still lose weight? Many weight loss experts recommend having high calorie days to boost the metabolism...

Apparently this a 'secret' bodybuilders have known about for ages [The meanies, keeping it to themselves!]

Your body can adapt to low calorie intake. It starts to think you're a Scrooge with the food and tries to hoard the fat! However if you trick it by feeding it extra calories every few days it happily gives up some fat, thinking it can easily get more...

Ha, that's what it thinks!

I haven't found any source that explains this, and many other weight loss methods, more brilliantly than Tom Venuto. He recommends not having more than three low calorie days in a row. Find out more in his fabulous e-book, Burn The Fat. I was seriously impressed with this book!

Here's to a slim and gorgeous Christmas!
