At this time of the year magazines are full of 'bikini diets'...

I don't know about you, but I always used to buy a bikini or swimsuit in my 'proper' size. Then on day I was shopping with a friend who has done a lot of modelling...

I was surprised at the sizes of the swimwear she was selecting to take into the changing rooms "Why are you trying on those bigger sizes?" I asked her.

"Just try it yourself, and you'll see" she winked.

I did, and it was so much more flattering. If you haven't already, why not give it a try?

I've met people who've worried about meditating in case it dulls their personality. Well, in my opinion it usually enhances things. It removes a lot of the stress so leaves room for more positive aspects to emerge. In fact, it tends to bring out the true personality.

A naturally placid person may only be acting hyper due to stress. Or a naturally outgoing gregarious type may feeling reclusive and inward due to pressures.

I remember a friend saying to me after observing another friend of mine who had been meditating for about a year "There's no way I'm learning to meditate if it makes me like that!" She meant that this person was a manic ball of energy, which was exhausting for everyone in his wake.

"You should have seen him before" I remarked "That's calm!"

But to cut a long story short, meditation tends to make us happier healthier and younger looking. If you don't have a method and would like to try here's a free easy meditation technique.
