July 12, 2007 10:30 - Don't spoil your meditation!

Ever wondered why you don't feel particularly rested or uplifted after meditating? After all, you've been told it will do marvellous things for you, so what's going on!

Could be you're not resting enough. You probably know that after yoga asanas it's good to lie in savasana [dead man's pose] afterwards to integrate the benefits...

Well, it's equally, if not more important, to rest after meditating. Rest either sitting up or lying down for at leat two minutes afterwards.

How do you know when you're done? The key is that when you stop 'itching to get up and go ' and actually start enjoying the rest then it's a good time to get up.

Ironic or what!?
Iif you don't have a mediation method and would like to try it here's a free meditation method.
