This probably sounds too simple because we've been bought up to think that life is a bit of a struggle. Don't be fooled by the simplicity of this technique: Let the thoughts be there. Trying to push them away makes them grow, trying to solve them can make them a million time worse. You don't need to worry about what you're going to say to someone a week next Tuesday...because you'll be there...you'll react appropriately. The correct response will come to you at the right time. When has it not? When have you had to get a notebook out and read out your planned response because you're struck dumb? I'm not talking about practical worries that can be solved now, in the present.
