Avoiding Breast Cancer

Early detection is often said the best way to deal with breast cancer However, I would say the best way is to avoid it altogether!

Hari Sharma et al agree with me. Or I should say that I agree with them, as they know much more than me:

Product Description:

"Simple, natural things are the answer to cancer!

Sound too easy? Here a Western research physician teams with an Eastern Ayurvedic to explain how ancient "secrets" -- that you can do from home! -- make it difficult for cancer to ever get started.

Find out . . .

*Which Indian spice protects your DNA (where cancer starts)

*How cancer cells crave sugar, and how to block sugar cravings

*Why natural killer cells are good, and how to keep them flowing

*What food supplement can fight bad toxins without blocking chemotherapy's "good toxins"

*Simple steps to fight colds, the flu, insomnia and more!

*How to get your body to manufacture Interleukin-2 (a prescription anti-cancer drug)

Early Detection Not Enough

The Answer to Cancer takes a fresh approach to the most troubling disease of our age. "When medicine speaks of 'prevention,' it mainly is speaking of early detection, which -- if you think about it -- isn't cancer prevention at all," announces the book's opening chapter. These authors have more sweeping intentions. The work offers a cradle-to-grave, 24-hour, easy and natural approach for averting the disease before it ever takes hold. It offers advice on diet, of course, blending modern scientific analysis ("phytochemicals", "lignans", "antioxidants") with classical Ayurvedic understanding (fruits, vegetables, herbs). (You'll find few technical Ayurvedic terms to confuse you. though.) A brief compendium of ancient techniques in modern dress, Answer makes an impassioned plea for, of all things, sleep. It rails against iced beverages (which it calls "the antithesis of digestion"). It teaches a basic course in Yoga while offering a few secrets for getting rid of toxins. Denouncing the microwave and the Snickers bar, it upholds the sunrise walk and periods of settled Transcendental Meditation."

I follow an ayurvedic approach to health myself, I highly recommend it. You can avoid a host of trouble...

I wish you freedom from all disease, not just breast cancer.
