Easy Meditation Technique. Effective and powerful!!



This easy meditation technique is a powerful stress buster! You can learn it here in about five minutes...

Why bother? Because it is an easy and quick route to improved health and happiness. Not to mention a more youthful appearance! I know meditators who look up to twenty years younger than their real age.

There are so many positive benefits:

Sit comfortably, preferably somewhere you are unlikely to be disturbed. You may sit in lotus position, but it is not necessary.

Meditating on a train, bus or plane is a good way to make the most of your journey. You must not do this easy meditation technique while driving!

Apart from that there really are no rules. Do it where you are comfortable. Make sure you are warm. You may prefer a darkened room.

The ideal is to meditate twice a day, morning and evening. For fifteen to twenty minutes each time. But, once is better than none. Ten minutes is better than no minutes. You get the idea!

So, let's get started...

Choose a mantra. You can use a word like 'peace' or 'one'. Alternatively you could use the universal mantra 'Om'. Go with what appeals to you. You can even use your own name. Using your own name is powerful and positive. This is because it is already deep inside your awareness so you are off to a good start. I think it is best to use your first name.

So, you've chosen your mantra? Let's go!

Get comfortable and close your eyes. Start repeating your mantra to yourself (inwardly, not out loud). Let the word do what it likes......slow, loud or quiet. If other thoughts come (and they will!) just ignore them. Let them be; put your attention on your mantra.

If you suddenly realise you have gone off into a total daydream and haven't been saying your mantra just gently return to it. After all this is an easy meditation technique!

The important thing is not to get wrapped up in any thoughts that come. Do not give them any importance whatsoever. They are just one of the ways that stress leaves the body. And this is good!

Anyway, you'll probably find that any thoughts you were tempted to get involved in during your easy meditation technique seem irrelevant afterwards.

After your alloted time stop saying the mantra but stay sitting comfortably, with your eyes closed for at least a minute afterwards. This is the absolute minimum. More is better.

I must stress here that this rest period is essential. Otherwise it would be the equivalent of jumping out of bed immediately after waking from a deep sleep. As you know it is far preferable to lie there luxuriating for a few minutes first.

It is best not to be disturbed during your easy meditation technique. But if this is unavoidable, and you did not have your rest period then it is advisable to meditate for a further few minutes (at least three) and then have your rest...

Then enjoy the rest of your day!
