Hair loss and stress, free tips!!

Help is at hand for those unwelcome partners, hair loss and stress...

More and more women are experiencing hair loss. And this leads to more stress. And so on. However, there are lots natural things to be done to improve hair growth...

And reduce stress.

Hair loss and stress, your days are numbered!

Insufficient zinc, iron or vitamin B12 have often been reported as being responsible for hair loss and stress. Ironically, too MUCH vitamin A is often a culprit. If you are vegetarian it is very easy to have insufficient B12 intake. It is common for women to experience hair loss due to an iron deficiency.

If you are experiencing any other of the symtoms that insufficieny of these cause then the lack may well be contributing to hair loss and stress. It will involve a little research, but I am sure it will be worth it.

For example if you are experiencing hair loss AND heavy periods then iron may well be the culprit.Figs and almonds are good natural sources of iron. Oh and mustn't forget Popeye......spinach too!!

It is good to massage your head regularly. The object is to gently move the scalp, not just rub at the hair.

There are plenty of allies against hair loss and stress...

Rosemary oil is excellent, as it stimulates circulation, which can encourage hair growth. Just add a drop of two per 5ml of carrier oil.

Coconut oil is wonderful, and highly recommended by ayurveda as a hair massage oil. Try using this combination as a massage before going to bed

Tea tree oil helps clear blocked hair follicles. This creates healthier hair growth.

Many people believe that a substance in many shampoos, sodium lauryl sulphate is responsible for much of todays hair loss. I have stopped using it for that reason. There are many alternatives without this ingredient. You could even really 'return to your roots!' and use pure liquid soap.

One of the most amazing things I have found for making the hair appear thicker is bicarbonate of soda. Just mix a little (about level teaspoon) in with your regular shampoo and wash and rinse as usual.

Use minimal (if any) conditioner (especially if your hair is thin or fine). You will probably find your hair now appears thicker with much more body.

A healthy diet is indespensable for hair loss and stress. Lots of fruit and vegetables! Drink plenty of water. Keep 'junk food', caffeine and alcohol to an absolute minimum.

If you are not eating a high quality diet the parts of the body essential to sustaining life will soak up the best nutrients first.

So make sure there's plenty left for your hair!

Adding a little cayenne pepper to your food can be helpful. It helps stimulate circulaton, which in turn stimulates the hair follicles and hence encourages hair growth.Cayenne also stimulates digestion for quicker calorie burning so you can't really go wrong....just don't put too much on at first !

I usually save it for towards the end of a meal so it isn't hot all the way through!

If you are experiencing severe hair loss and stress why not try disguising the issue until your hair thickens?

First of all there are lots of cosmetic concealers on the market for areas of thinning hair. A very good one is DermMatch.

Or just key something like 'hair loss concealers' into a search engine and have a good old browse.

Certain famous people not only wear wigs and hairpieces but make no secret about it. They positively enjoy them and have great fun with them. I'm talking male and female here. Just think, no bad hair days!

It is only programming that makes some people think that it is OK for men to have less hair, but not women. Not fair! And not true! The truth is that it is fine for men to have lots of hair, little hair or no hair... And it is exactly the same for women.

So if a man can shave off all his hair and look fab then so can a woman. Recently, on TV, I saw a woman who had experienced severe hair loss. She thought 's** it' and shaved it all off......

She looked wonderful, really dramatic and elegant. She looked so confident and original. Then her hair grew back, but I thought she looked more beautiful with her shaved head.

You can also disguise with headbands, bandanas, hats. Life is to be lived and have fun with. Have fun with your hair, no matter how little or how much of it you have!

But most of all just have fun! You've probably heard the warning about overwork.......Not many peoples' dying words are going to be "I wish I'd spent more time at the office"

Nor, I think, would they say 'I wish I'd spent more time worrying and making myself miserable about my hair!'
