Happy Bunny!

Want to be a 'happy bunny' who is getting happier all the time? Here's an easy method for you...

A really easy way to get happier is to recall positive things from your day pre-sleep. I know this can sound rather 'syrupy' but it really does work.Try an experiment.

Just before sleep write down between six and ten positive things about your day. Now if you'd asked Scrooge this before the ghostly visitations he would have just said 'Bah..Humbug!'

We all have 'Bah..Humbug!' moments so if you happen to be in at the moment here are some hints based on my day yesterday.

  • Enjoyed a lovely cappuccino in a cafe while reading a magazine

  • I walked into town and really enjoyed seeing the autumnal colours

  • Saw a really sweet robin in the garden

  • Had a fun telephone chat with a friend

  • Exercised to some of my favourite music

  • Languished in a delicious hot bath, drinking tea and reading a wonderful book:
  • See, the blessings don't have to be 'earth shattering', just simple things that you enjoy.

A day is really just a series of moments. Even a day you're inclined to write off as grim has some moments of happiness.

The fabulous thing is the more you focus on the moments of happiness the more moments of happiness you get.

What you put your attention on grows!

A friend recently tried this on her little boy. He had been getting very bad tempered and unhappy. He was certainly not a happy bunny. After just a few days using this method he became so much sunnier and happier. So did his mum!

    Have a happy day!
