Quick Weight Loss Plan For You!


Looking for quick weight loss? The 'experts' are always telling us that slow weight loss is the only way [or weigh!]...

This is not really what we want to hear when your beach holiday or wedding [or both!]is only a week away!

The following is the easiest quick weight loss and detox programme I have used.

I'm not going to mention how many pounds you can lose. All I'm saying is that when my clothes feel tight and I feel sluggish the following is like waving a magic wand!

Hey Presto!! Ligher body and lighter emotions in days. Hurrah!

I'm telling it how it works for me:

For up to a week I eat only well cooked cous-cous, vegetables and fruit. It is my belief, based on ayurveda, that undercooked foods are harder to digest.

A raw carrot, for example, has more nutrients. However, a cooked carrot is easier to digest, hence your body can absorb the nutrients more easily...Most of my 'eating ideas' are based on ayurveda. Ayurdevic eating is based on good digestion: a sign of supreme health.

So, on with the quick weight loss plan...

For breakfast I have something like dried dates, soaked overnight, mixed with well cooked cous-cous. Lexia raisins or figs are fabulous, also.

For lunch and dinner I have cooked cous-cous mixed with fruit or veg...

Here are some ideas:

Avocado and tomato.

Cooked vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, etc...

Season however you like. That way you're not really on a 'diet'. You can have Mexican, Indian, Thai or whatever. It becomes a fabulous Italian feast teamed with tomato and basil! Yum!

For extra protien have at least one good sized glass of lassi a day. This can be easily made by blending one part natural yoghurt with 3 to 4 parts water. Two, if you want a thicker brew!

[Talking about liquid it is best to drink plenty of water and, obviously, give any alcohol a miss!]

If I'm hungry between meals I munch on fruit. Fresh or dried fruit that has been soaked.

Mix, match and invent to your heart's content. It's simple. Your body will tell you what it wants.
