Money doesn't make you happy if you do not have a sense of peace within. And chasing after money and 'things' can make you miserable.

This was once summed up brilliantly for me by a wise old lady telling me that possessions are 'Today's pleasure but tomorrow's bore'. So there we go hurtling after the next thing, and then....and then!

Money is of course necessary. However nice your big happy smile, it is not a substitute for hard cash or a credit card. (Not in most stores, anyway!)

Take the pressure off yourself by not craving after more than you need (with a few treatsthrown in!).

Enjoy the incredible wealth of appreciating now. It is amazing how powerful just being here right now is. Think of the present moment as a hammock. Just fall into it and everything else usually falls into place!

Doing something you hate, or even don't like very much, can be a disaster for health and happiness.

Do what you love and the money will follow has been cited often, only because it is so often true.
