Fun and Effective Womens Fitness

Looking for fun and effective womens fitness? The best way to get or stay fit is to do something you enjoy. Of course, you actually have to do that something, not just think about it.

Starting on any womens fitness regime [or session!] is the hardest part. For example I enjoy walking and walk the three miles into town...and love it...

once I'm on the road. But sometimes the thought of it makes me groan and I just want to hop into the car...

But I can't, because I sold it! About a year ago I decided to become car free. That means I easily fulfill the 10000 steps requirement, and then some!

And I certainly don't feel guilty when I indulge in a little cafe visit when I reach town. Yum!

I have moved house and got married since I wrote those last few paragraphs. Like many men [and women!] hubby just loves cars. The thought of not having one would be horrendous to him...

A bit like me thinking of a life without chocolate!

So, now cars are back in my life I am not doing nearly so much walking.

But hardly a day goes by when I don't do the Five Tibetan Rites. I cannot recommend these magical exercises highly enough. They show amazing results in as little as ten minutes a day. As well as being fab for weight loss they're a wonderful antiaging-exercise. Hurrah!

The point is to do whatever you enjoy to keep fit, and use whatever means you need to get you started.

However, unless you love gyms or health Clubs don't join one because you think having paid the fee will force you to go. This ploy will probably only work if you love it once you get there...

And you are changed and at least three minutes into the session!

In or out of the gym tummy exercises are normally much in demand.

I also love doing yoga asanas but am sometimes filled with inertia at the thought of starting my routine. I then use all sort of avoidance tactics, usually involving 'surfing the net'. But I finally get onto that yoga mat most days.

It helps that I have a yoga mat I love and it also helps to listen to the music I'm in the mood for...

And there's aften nothing soothing or 'yogaish' about it. But I do what I need to do because the benefit of yoga is so profound and important.

So that's the key, do what you want in your own way for your own variety of womens fitness.

There are no rules. School was a long time ago [well, it was for me!]

Dance, walk, climb hills, join a gym, do yoga, play tennis, play squash, swim...

Whaever, and however you like...as long as you do it safely.

Above all, have fun!
