Xmas Stress? No Way!



Don't let Xmas stress spoil your fun!

As I'm sure you know the earlier you start preparing the less you let the holiday season stress you out...

And the more you'll enjoy it.

So the best way to avoid Xmas stress is to start early. If you do it in the following way it sort of prepares itself.....

Unless you know exactly what you want to buy for various presents don't try and plan beforehand.

Just permanently have 'an open mind' and 'reverse shop'. Instead of thinking of a person then looking for a gift find the gift and apply it to the person!

This means rather than racking your brains to come up with suitable presents for people do this instead:

Whenever you're surfing the net or out shopping etc and you see something that 'stands out' ask yourself who it would appeal to. If the answer is obvious buy it there and then.

It also makes sense money wise...as you'll be spreading the cost....

I actually do this throughout the year and put my purchases into big hampers. So when Xmas comes all I have to do is wrap and the shopping was effortless....

And talking about hampers start getting yummy bits and pieces as you see them. Anything to lessen the amount of food shopping you have to do immediately before Xmas.

Obviously I'm not talking about fresh produce!

And remember you're not shopping for an army! It's so easy to buy too much food!

If you're the Xmas chef don't over-extend yourself. People would rather have the memory of your fun giggle as opposed to the memory of plates flying through the air in frustration!

Better cranberry sauce from a jar than a tearful chef!
